Welcome to the Lee Moberly Museum

Historic preservation is a conversation with our past about our future. We can teach our future generations what we have learned and help them understand. Sometimes we remember things we are proud of, and sometimes we have moments that are painful or uncomfortable to remember. Through the Historical Society of Middleton and fellow community members such as yourself, we are sure to hold on to our values, our teachings, and our will to learn something new every day.

  • Annual Meeting

    The Middleton Historical Society will hold its Annual Meeting on February 21, 2026, at the Middleton United Methodist Church. The program will focus on the town’s history with flooding, including events from the past and the relocation of Old Middleton. Humorist Louis B. Katz will speak, and attendance is free.

  • Vintage Toy Display

    Saturday, December 6, 2025 from 10:00 am-3:00 pm. Be a part of this fun exhibit and bring a toy from “the olden days” to display. Museum volunteers will be available at 9:00 am to accept display items. Visit the Museum with friends and family!
